In 2020, Death, Sex and Money are the three things we don’t talk about openly, especially the latter. Well, we believe this needs to change! Money isn’t just a financial issue, the related problems can impact every area of our lives – our happiness, mental health, work, relationships and more.
As a society we need to start talking more openly about (our) money in the right environments for everyone to feel safe enough to open up, talk, listen and grow as equals. We believe this is the future and have been busy experimenting with what that would look like...…
Over the summer (through the lockdown limbo), we held a number of pilot webinars (via zoom). Each cohort was limited to a maximum of ten people. The objective was to have small intimate groups to allow honest peer-to-peer interactions blended alongside our presentations. We learned how we could further develop a ‘positive money mindset’, starting off by identifying our money personalities; our limiting beliefs regarding money and its impact on our decision-making processes. We finished the sessions by identifying healthy ways to overcome our innate scarcity mindsets and improve our mental diet.
Pay What You Like
Attendees were invited to only pay what they thought the pilot webinar was worth (our emphasis was on value as apposed to cost). We're happy to say all attendees were interested in signing up to the full 8-week 'Money & Me’ Programme.
We’ll be running our first full cohort commencing 22nd October. Spaces are limited, so register asap if you’re interested or wish to buy the programme for someone else. Sign up at genmoney.co.uk/services.
